Modern witchcraft and new stickers set

Hello beautiful soul, how is going on?
I missed blogging so much, but I’ve got very busy months due the Covid19 spread and isolation we all had to manage with. But here we are, trying to stay happy and healthy.
Planning out the future and stay focused on goals helps me a lot, I wrote million of plans and jotted down thoughts and notes and had the urge to draw some new planner stickers in this past month. So I decided to open a new account on Instagram to dedicate to this passion of mine too. I designed those happy stickers for happy, curious, humorous, fancy people who wants they’re planner to stand out from the crowd. The last is the Modern Witch set, but there are many many others.

Who’s a modern witch?
Maybe a creative happy person like you, who opens up to the world her soul each day, planning the things to do with a bit of humor and a magical feeling. Prepping your black coffee, jotting down plans and meowing like a cat to the good moon, smelling a smudge, creating your goals day by day. Five things I learnt while drawing this:

• - thumbnails matters

• - turn off your mind helps a lot

• - errors can leads to new beautiful solutions

• - I really like green and I didn’t know

• - skin tones could be a tricky part but experimenting on a spair piece of paper before you put down the color on the final piece make it easier to find the shade you’re looking for.

I am going to teach at The Creative UnGenius

Hello!

I am going to teach a course about creativity and how to boost it, how to avoid negative feelings about how a wanna be illustrator feeling on the starting path.

Humans are very similar but we all are of all kind and different in someway, so our art haven’t to be similar to anyone else, it could be skinky, whinky, gorgeous, fabulous or pretty or even ugly. There are many artist in the world and their super power is to have a recognisable style, a very personal point of view. I will teach in class how to find it on your side, how to manage the discomfort of somedays and how to flourish as the creative you are.

Ode to Laziness

Hello,

what are you doing lately?

I can’t believe that I haven’t written a post for months, really MONTHS!

I missed this spot, but on the other way, I still am in a sort of laziness, and can’t help, I don’t know if I will awake soon.

What I am doing is: Learning. As I said before, learning is a never ending process for me, and I keep feeling I’m not ready to begin something that involve all my muscle and nerves. Is this called procrastination maybe?

This is an illustration I draw to get in the new #portfolioclub assignment prompt on Instagram. And I also work on #illostories prompt as well.

There is also a personal and SECRET project I’m working on too, that make me feel sooo excited and happy.

Summer is the lazy period for my soul, I am reading a big amount of books. Did you know that my city, Trieste is a literature crib? At the beginning of the previous century, there where many international poets, writers and artists that came here. And this year Trieste is one of the candidate to the CREATIVE CITIES of UNESCO for the Literature. And I really hope that this will became true. Today Trieste is again the port for so many artists and creative people, here are so many contemporary writers, illustrators (the project that involve the curators of the new museum of the literature also will have five language and a big jung and kids literature, and crafts artist that I think we deserve this pledge.

That’s all for now.

I’m off to taking sun bathing, drawing on my sketchbook, working on my secret project, playing UNO’s Cards with my son, eating tomatoes, fish and drinking fresh white wine, meeting happy people… in other words, bringing smile and happyness to my life.

No more Bully at School

Hello Lovelies,

how are you? Today is going to be a very relaxing and paceful Sunday. The kid is out with dad, and I’ve got the whole day for me. I catched up with some wonderful friends for a delicious brunch and chit chat this morning, got a walk and now, in the fullest beautiful silence of my own, I’m going to blog some news. Isn’t it looking like the perfect momentum?

In 2017 I’ve written and illustrated a storyboard about bullying into my sketchbook. I’ve never shared it before, but this fact was a very “pain in the ass” when I was at school at the age of 14-15. I learnt so much from my adolescence and also I’ve got much more strongness after I had a conversation with my grandmother.

Bullying is still a pain in the ass for many people nowadays, but I hope that kids, adolescents, and adults could find strenght and love within they’re heart to neutralize this feelings and maybe to stop those behaviors.

Sharing those drawings now it looks like something very personal and intimate, but I hope you will like it.

Vlogging - a new Sunday Sketch Cafe' video

Hello Lovelies,

spring is almost here and I am feeling much more energized about the new season’s transition. Cleaning up home and sorting out the sketchbook I stumble upon some time ago video series I commenced last year but didn’t stick on it very much. I felt in love with the live sketchbook’s video series again and decided to give it second try, so here I am with another one. I can say I really love this one, because:

• It’s the first time I record in English in “live” mode; (ahem… I’m not so fluent at the time, I can read, write and listen English but when I try to chat I became soooo shy and nervous, I promise, I’ll practise it more!)

• I am much more secure about my drawing, that I feel confortable to not sketch the subject in advance, but do this just while recording, so you get it as it came.

• I adore the copic marker! (even if I was soooo slow in choosing colors)

• I love pink and pastels!

I’m going to record the Sunday Sketch Cafe’ twice a month. So, here we go. Hope you like this week video!

Cute Planner Stickers to Love

This month was, as ALL THE TIME lately, way so busy. As you may know if you follow me from some times, I work full time in a big company to sustain my family and I am proud of the company’s mission, that has something to do with sustainability for our planet and we are taking action into this on a daily bases. I was lucky enough to take part on a project call for employees and I won the second place for action I already do on sustainability. I am so happy about this and I will also go to Milan next month attending a road show of the company CEO. Lucky me.

Along with this, on all my free time, I am passionate about drawing. The drawings will become patterns, illustrations, decoration and…

Happy 2019 + New Year Resolutions

Hello!!

welcome into 2019, I am so excited about the new year. I have a lot of great intentions for this year. I don’t list many, but I have some important goals o achive and a few resolutions. One of those is to take care of myself.

As a working and single mom, it’s easy to forget to honor yourself, especially when you’re so tired and push your “make up me” -self in a corner, unlistened and forgotten.

So, this January I put some black sign-point on my Bullet Journal:

• Book hairstylist appointment

• put the body lotion

• shave your legs

• etc. etc.

So, while I was wrapping up the last year and setting goals for 2019, with fashionist beauty and selfcaring in mind, I was drawn to design some girls into my sketchbook. I LOVED them so much that I ended up turning them into stickers.

I called ‘em My Daily Beautiful Life - so I can stick them once in a while to help me remind to take care of myself.

I’ve also started reading Ryder Carroll’s book “ The Bullet Journal Method” and I am enjoying it.

I’ve got my first bujo in 2016, but at that time I wasn’t much enthusiastic, but by reading the book I changed my opinion and I want to give it a try on 2019, and I can say that for the first week it works! I had personalized the method to make it just enough functional to my style.

Looking back, 2018 was a very intense year for me, with some awful happening but also filled with pure joy here and there.

I hope that 2019 will bring more Love and Abundance into my life, for this reason those are my word of the year for this coming year.

I’ve also set up my Agenda, I want to break the Woty in 12 small steps, so January will be all about “Learn To Fly” to go out of my comfort zone, start doing, acting. I filmed a Video of my Moleskine Agenda set up and you can watch it on my YouTube channel.

November Journal

Hello!

This is the time to rest and harvest for the coming month.

Today is raining a lot and I am in our living room with my kid.

He is watching Adventure Time on the TV and I came to seat here on my desktop with blogging intention.

I've written a lot on my journal lately. I've always been attracted by the Moon, and I felt a sort of need to investigate more on it's influence on people’s life.

I’ve ended with a Moon Phase’s zine and the November Lunar Calendar to track my path during the experiment I’m going to take on next month. I’ve also designed some themed stationery sets for my journal, and if you need some stickers for yours and want to see them, here are a few images about what I’ve just created.

I really love how those little treasures can amplify the creativity, and how writing become much more easier and fun by stick them onto the paper pages.

Imagining the possibility given by the New Moon and understanding how much we can accomplish with her help, makes me feel awake.
